What's it all about? "I'm writing this from New Orleans, LA where this week's song "When I Found You (11:11)" was born. Better Than Ezra bassist Tom Drummond and I started a side project a few years ago and have written somewhere close to 15 hybrid rock/electronica songs since. This song is one of my favorites and will eventually wind it's way onto the record Tom and I are destined to finish one of these days. I don't know what it's about. Tom loved the idea of "11:11" winding it's way into a lyric somehow. We built the idea around that and the giant studio upright piano. If you listen you can hear the creaking of the piano bench, it's pedals and some Cajun ghosts shaking their chains."

What's it all about? 40x40 #6!! "Mama said there'd be weeks like this...When I started 40x40 I knew it was going to be difficult. I did not account for illness. This was the toughest so far as we had house guests all week and I couldn't work late. Knowing this I dusted off an old unfinished Getaway Car song we recorded with producer Jeff Juliano for the 2004 All Your Little Pieces record. I stripped it of everything but the original bass and drums and rebuilt it from the ground up. Luckily I sang through it a few times before I came down with what might be the Piglet Flu. I soldiered on and finished it despite the chills and snot. This month has been full of songs that got all emotional so here's a straight up rock song about asking a buddy to self destruct with you. Dan Garvin played drums. Chris Reardon played bass and Jared Bartlett played guitar. Micah Wilshire mixed. Do you wanna hit bottom with your best friend? Where's the Dayquil?" - Todd Wright
